DISCOVERY AND INVENTION.
1. DISCOVERY: A discovery is recognizing something that already exists for the first time, that nobody has found before.
Example: In January 2004, the European probe Mars Express discovered water at the south pole of the planet Mars.
2. INVENTION: An invention is creating something totally new with one's own ideas and development.
Example: In 1903, the Wright brothers invented the first airplane.
